چکیده
Background: During the new COVID-19 coronavirus infection pandemic, a growing incidence of autoimmune encephalitis cases has been observed. One primary problems related to patients with this highly lethal pathology is its timely early diagnostics and prescription an optimal individual course immunotherapy. In debut anti-NMDA receptor (inotropic glutamate receptor, selectively binding N-methyl D-aspartate) encephalitis, mental disorders are observed, prompting initial admission such psychiatric hospital. Then, clinical picture disease characterized by significant polymorphism. cases, it not always possible suspect lesion nervous system. Clinical case description: article, we present female patient serologically confirmed against background (U07.1 according ICD-10). The onset involved symptoms; was transferred Department neurology VGK BSMP No. 1 Municipal Hospital Emergency Care No.1 from municipal hospital, when generalized cerebral symptoms appeared. According diagnostic criteria, epileptic seizures most signs in verification encephalitis. Autoimmune suspected based on developed neurological detected antibodies blood serum. antibody analysis cerebrospinal fluid informative way diagnosis. Conclusion: requires vigilance physicians all specialties who may encounter disease. Timely procedures pathogenetically justified treatment importance.

Anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (anti-NMDAR) encephalitis is is most common form ofimmune-mediated encephalitis with prominent neurologic and psychiatric features at disease onset. We describe a 16 years old patient who presented with fever and status epilepticus. His MRI sequences was normal. Anti-NMDAR antibodies were detected in the CSF. MRI, CT and other studies didn,t show any tum...

In recent years, the discovery of antibodies to specific neuronal antigens that then go on to cause encephalitis has gone a long way to change the investigation and management of a potential encephalitic process. These have now become known under the umbrella term of the ‘autoimmune encephalitides’. In this article we look at antiN-methyl-D-aspartate receptor encephalitis, a condition most ofte...
